Dimplex Thorn 100 Hybrid Fireplace

Torn 100 is made of steel and has a wooden top plate on top of the fireplace. The flames are created by a Dimplex Opti-myst Cassette, which, using atomised water and light, creates a fantastic flame effect, with no heat or fire hazard.

The fireplace is only suitable for indoor use - but you can also place it almost anywhere you want. The hybrid fireplace simply requires a connection to a standard 230V socket. The fireplace has a 1.5 meter long power cable.

Heat output

Although the flames in the Thorn 100 does not give off any heat, the fireplace can still provide heat. Thorn 100 has a built-in heat blower that can provide 1000W or 2000W of heat output.

The heat blower is controlled independently of the flames, so you can choose to use the fireplace without heat if you just want the visual cosiness of the Opti-myst fireplace.
